L702E - The market of logistics real estates expects big players

The very dynamic market in Bulgaria and the strong growth caused by the entry of new players – retailer chains, investment funds and speculators – pushes out the investors into logistics areas farther and farther from Sofia where the price is still attractive for o­ne-storey buildings. An interest is observed toward the towns of Bozhurishte, Kostinbrod, Elin Pelin. The sea ports (Bourgas and Varna) and the river ports (Vidin, Rousse, Lom and Svishtov) are demanded for logistics locations in Bulgaria as well as the areas around Plovdiv and Gorna Oriahovitsa, comment experts with Forton International.

The offering of logistics and industrial plots in Bulgaria continues to grow and at the moment it amounts to o­ne million sq.m, says a Colliers International investigation. The specialists of the consulting company use different software means and track where the local distributors import goods from. They do not advise companies who do not need the direct use of air cargo to build around Sofia Airport. The most suitable place right now is between Kazichene and Krivina where the goods flows arrive via the Trakia and Hemus highways, or stop in Sofia, or leave for the neighboring countries.
