Bulgarian Transport Publishing House was founded in 1994 as a joint venture between Deutscher Verkehrs-Verlag - Hamburg, Germany, Bohmann Beteiligungsgesellschaft - Vienna, Austria, and the Association of Bulgarian Enterprises for International Road Transport and the Roads (AEBTRI) - Sofia, Bulgaria.

The company is a member of EUROPEAN TRANSPORT PRESS - a network of leading publishers in the field of international transport and forwarding, with headquarters in Hamburg, Germany and covering publications in 12 European countries - Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Denmark, Germany, Holland, Hungary, Poland, Spain and UK.
